Prayers upon POS

Dear all VUians...

Another one more week is Emerge d... You all excited? I am excited and nervous at the same time... Haha...

At this moment, our POS people are really working very very hard! They started with practice 3 to 4 times a week, and now they are practicing EVERY night. And most of the time they practice until 3am, 4am in church... Day time they have to work, night time they have to practice... They are really working very very hard!

POS is the one that represent our cluster... They did cheer, stunts, dance... They tried their best to do the trailer, sound track, choreograph every movement... Every week I drop by to see them at least twice a week, and they really improve from time to time.

Sometimes I seriously have no idea on how to help them, but something I would do is to encourage them and to keep them in prayers! Guys, I just want you all to encourage our POS when you all see them... And most importantly is to keep them in prayers. Pray for their health, their safety, no more injuries on them... Can we do that together? Thank you guys :)

VU is always the most united cluster!!

To all the drilling people...

2 days ago, I saw them practicing the drills for the weekend. And most of them are newbies, even when they marched also got different timing. People say 'no eyes see'... lol. Last night, after Pst Robb service, I stayed back in church. They got practice too. After I finished all the things that I need to do, I walked out to the lobby, and I saw a bunch of people marching out there at the cafe... 'Wow... very neat!!' The left leg and right leg all same timing, hands with 90 degrees. That is VU cluster!! I was seriously amazed!! They practiced until 12++am, and this early morning, they all continue practice in church. Because of some miscommunications that they have to change from the drilling formation to simple marching, yet they carry the same attitudes towards their practice. And of course, I can see that after few days of practice together, they all already become good friends and very close with each other...

Guys, I am just proud of you all!! To me, you all are already the CHAMPION!! This is the VU spirit that we all should carry... GOOD ATTITUDES ATTRACTS SUCCESS!!

For those who are joining "Are You Smarter Than A Teenager?" competition,
Take note that: this Wednesday (27 Oct 2009) there will be a round of study together in church at 9.30pm.

I will be sending you the questions via email. Do bring your laptop together so we can discuss some questions together. Else, printing so many files would be rather costly.

Last weekend I have given out most of the t-shirts to the cell leaders... Have you got it? Some of it are still with me, and I will pass to your cell leaders this Thursday! Promise!!

I saw some of you all wore it last weekend... It looks really cool!

Alright guys, since this weekend is the Sport Carnival Day which we will kick start with all the sport games! The deal is this... This Sunday when you come to church, then we all wear our VU t-shirts, then after service we go Mashushita Stadium together! Isn't it cool? Imagine, the whole VU wearing the same RED t-shirts!! Wow...

Thanks for all your participation in Beauty Pageant and Manhunt!

We'll be having our first training with all the participants -

Venue : City Harvest Church, 1st Floor (Chinese Church)

Day / Date : Monday, 12 Oct

Time : 8pm

All participants will need to prepare a one minute intro about themselves. DO NOT COME IMPROMPTU / UNPREPARED!

Your intro can be roughly along the line of what you do, your past times/ passion, your life goal / mission. If you need help, just email it to me and I'll gladly help you with it.

Girls - Bring your heels (minimum height of 3 inches, the higher the better!) Those who do not have any, do let me know your shoe size and I'll try to get a pair for you.

Please confirm your attendance by this Friday via sms / email.

So hope all of you will make an effort to come. VU's gonna reclaim it's championship! Let's make this an unforgettable event as much as it's an unforgettable experience!

Emerge Got Talent - VU Pre-lim

We've got all your registrations for Emerge Got Talent, and we're really excited to see so many of you are competing this year!

Yin Har will be the person overseeing this event, and she have already send all the registered participants an email on the details of the competition. For those who have yet to register, or you did not receive an email from Yin Har, do drop her a sms - 012-306 5621 / email her - yinharleong@yahoo.com NOW!

Due to the overwhelming response of participants, we will have the VU preliminary round and will be screening through all your performances.

The first pre-lim will be held at :

Venue : City Harvest Church, 1st Floor , CHEC - Chinese Church

Day / Date : Monday, 12th of Oct

Time : 8pm

Please confirm your attendance to Yin Har via sms/email as she will need to allocate time slots for each participant.
